Frequently Asked Questions

How much is parking? The Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel must limit parking to one personal vehicle per room so we can accommodate all of our guests. If you have an oversized vehicle, please contact the hotel prior to arrival to confirm parking availability for your dates of stay. If additional parking is needed, passes are subject to availability and are charged at a rate of $22.50 per night. We advise contacting the hotel before your arrival to ensure the availability of extra parking.

Can I check-in early? If you need to check in prior to 4:00PM on the day of arrival, please contact the Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel front desk to request an early check in. Our staff will be happy to assist you with the early check in options you can choose from and associated costs. 

Can I check-out late? Please contact the hotel front desk to request a late check-out. Our front desk staff will be happy to review your current reservation and if we do not have another guest arriving for the specific room type, the front desk staff will provide you with the available check out times and costs. 

Is there a minimum age to check-in? The minimum age to check-in to the Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel is 18 years old with a vaild governement issued photo identification and credit card for payment and incidental deposit. 

Can you store luggage? Yes, same-day luggage storage is complimentary for up to 2 bags per guest. For overnight luggage storage, there is a fee of $5 per bag, per day, and confirmation of a reservation booking is required for returning to the hotel.

Can I have mail or packages delivered to the hotel?  Yes, you can have mail or packages delivered to the hotel. However, there are some guidelines and fees to be aware of:

  • Package Fee: The hotel charges $5.00 plus 6.5% tax per package.
  • Timing: If packages arrive more than 10 days before your arrival date, additional charges may apply.
  • Restrictions: The hotel does not accept large packages, packages over 50 LBS, or pallets.

Make sure to check with the hotel directly if you have any specific questions or if your package falls outside these guidelines.

Do you have an airport shuttle? The hotel does not offer an airport shuttle service. However, they recommend the following transportation options from Orlando International Airport:

  • SuperShuttle: Available outside of Baggage Claim at the airport.
  • Taxi: Taxis can be found outside of Baggage Claim.
  • Car Rentals: There are various car rental services available at the airport.

Do you offer cribs? We provide cribs at no additional charge. Please note that cribs are based upon availability and are not guaranteed.

Do you offer rollaway beds? A rollaway bed is available for $22.50+ tax per day. Please contact the hotel front desk to confirm availability. 

Do you have guest laundry available? What about dry cleaning? We have a guest laundry facility on the first floor with 24-hour access. Washers and dryers are available at $3.00 per load each. Laundry detergent can be purchased at Shades Deli. Unfortunately, we do not have dry cleaning services available onsite. 

Do you have a fitness center? Our fitness center is equipped with treadmills, stationary bikes, an elliptical machine, free weights, and a stretching area. Additionally, we have a half-court basketball court for your enjoyment.

Do you allow smoking? We are a non-smoking hotel, but we have designated smoking areas outside for your convenience. A $100 fee will be charged if smoking occurs in a guest room.

Do you allow pets? Unfortunately, we do not allow pets at the Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel. Service animals are permitted with proper documentation. For questions, please contact the hotel front desk prior to arrival.

Do you offer complimentary shuttle to Disney Parks? Unfortunately, we do not offer free transportation to Walt Disney World Parks or Resorts. However, you can arrange transportation through local services, Uber, Lyft, or local taxi services.
 

Do you offer complimentary shuttle to Universal Studios?
As a Universal Partner Hotel, you can take advantage of the free scheduled transportation to Universal Studios and SeaWorld Orlando.. Please be aware that the bus runs on a set schedule and limited availability for this service. For details on scheduled times and availability, please contact the hotel front desk.

Do you offer complimentary breakfast? Sharky & Jack's Bar & Grille, located in the hotel lobby serves a full breakfast buffet with a cook-to-order egg station for $14.95 + tax. Children under 7 eat free (1 child per paying adult). Breakfast is served daily from 7:00AM - 11:00AM.  If you prefer a lighter option, you can visit Shades Deli for a quick grab-and-go breakfast or coffee


Is there an additional fee for microwave and refrigerator? For your convenience, all of our guest rooms come equipped with a mini refrigerator and microwave at no additional cost."

Is there a daily resort fee?
The daily resort fee of $14.00+ tax per night covers self parking, WiFi, use of the business center, fitness room, pool, hot tubs, pool towels, and more!

Can I pay cash? Are deposits required? As of now, we no longer accept cash at check-in. All guests must present a valid government issued ID and a valid credit card upon arrival for payment and the incidential deposit. While you can choose to pay with cash at check-out, the full amount for your stay will be charged to your credit card upon arrival. 

How many elevators do you have? We have three guest elevators to reduce wait times and enhance convenience.

Do you offer complimentary Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi access is included in the nightl resort fee. The information and password will be included in your check in welcome packet. 

What is the voltage in the guest rooms? The voltage in our guest rooms is 120V at 60Hz
 

Do you enter rooms with DND signs?
Your privacy, comfort, safety and well-being of our guests and associates is top priorty. We make all efforts to aviod entering a room with a DND sign althoug we reserve the right to visually inspect all guestrooms for wellness checks, security, maintenance, or other purposes, even when the do not disturb sign is displayed. 

Are emotional support/comfort dogs permitted? Emotional support animals are not classified as service animals. We do not accept any pets other than registered service animals. Service animals are defined as performing specific tasks directly related to an individual's disability."
